Find accommodation in the most popular places to stay in the North Coast area of Kwa-Zulu Natal Province of South Africa.  Accommodation Africa South will soon provide you with a list of all the best destinations, things to do and see whether you are looking for a ‘naughty’ weekend away from the kids, an adventure, vacation or holiday accommodation or somewhere to stay because you are a travelling salesman, contractor or other profession that involves a lot of travelling and staying away from home.  We also plan to have venues and places where you can have conferences, conventions, expos,  special events like weddings, birthday parties, art, craft, and other exhibitions, as well as farmers or christmas markets and agricultural and other shows.  We also have a calendar of events in the Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN) and other places in South Africa if you wish to see whats on.

The North Coast, also called the Dolphin Coast, for very good reason, stretches from just above Durban to Stanger or Dukluza. The North Coast borders the Battlefields area in the north west, the Midlands in the south west, Durban district in the south, and Zululand in the north.  Technically the ‘North Coast’ goes up through Zululand and  St Lucia where the Wetlands Area begins to the Mozambique border just past Kosi Baycalled the Elephant Coast.

Towns on the ‘North Coast’  Richards Bay, St Lucia, Stanger or Dukuza, Shakaskraal, Blythedale Beach, Zinkwazi Beach, Tinley Manor Beach, and uMhlanga… Tongaat, Kwa Mashu, aMatikulu, Felixton, eMpangeni, KwaNbonambi, Mtibatuba, River View, Gingindlovu, and Darnall are further inland. Other settlements in the region are Mtunzini, Nyathini, Mandini, Tugela, Zinkwazi Beach, Tugela Mouth, Skaka’s Rock,  Salt Rock, Ballito, Sheffield Beach, uMdloti, uMhlali, Mdwedwe. Even though these places fall under the north coast area, it does not mean all the places are on the sea.

Check the linked establishments for their brochure page with amenities, facilities, website, contact information, and other details.

See below the table for more about the North Coast, its vicinity and neighboring areas. Below the table is a bit of history, emergency and other numbers, attractions in the area, what to do and see in and around North Coast, and links to find out more.
